Note, does not have the speed load feature. Also receiver is turning a gray/brown which did not show well in pictures. And barrel is not original to the gun nor is it a Light 12 barrel. Another of my dad's. He'd owned it since the 90's, doubt he ever fired it. Finsih appears original to me. Buttplate is obviously horn and does have some worm holes. Does not have a magazine plug. I fired 5 rounds of some of his very old reloads and they all short stroked (i.e. failed to eject). And yes the rings were set correctly; I've known how to do that since I was 11 and that was a long time ago. Fired most of a box of some cheap Winchester factory shells and they fed/ fired/ extracted/ ejected flawlessly. That means zero malfunctions wtih factory ammo so there's no reason to ask if it malfunctioned with factory ammo. Proofhouse put date of mfg 1953. I always email when payment is received and provide tracking when item ships, usually next business day. Will not sell face to face but local buyers can arrange to pick it up from the dealer I use for transfers and I'll cover his transfer fee.
