An Early Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver With 4 1/2 Inch Barrel In Fine To Excellent Untouched Condition. Serial #16,572, all matching numbers including the wedge. Made in early 1863. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue with some small spots fading to a plum brown patina. The Cylinder has a mix of original blue and natural patina on it. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all show fine plus factory plus case colors throughout. All screws are fine with original blue on them. The brass back strap and trigger guard are fine throughout with some silver still remaining on them. The original grips are excellent plus and retain their original factory varnish on them. The revolver has a fine action and bore. This Is An Excellent And All Original Civil War Colt Model 1862 Percussion Police Revolver Made In Early 1863!
