An Early & Very Desirable Civil War Original Factory Colt Case for a Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver with a 4 Inch Barrel in Fine plus Condition. All original and complete. The case has a fine dark burgundy lining throughout. All of the partitions are original. The outside body of the box is excellent throughout with a fine grain and its original factory finish on it. There is no warping to the box and it closes tightly. The early brass shield escutcheon around the key hole is original.
