U.S. Civil War Military Issued Smith Carbine In Excellent Plus Condition. The carbine is all original and complete. The Serial # is 11132, all matching numbers. The carbine is all original and complete. The carbine has excellent plus metal, markings, and edges. It is U.S. Sub Inspected "L.F.R." on the side of the barrel. The barrel, and trigger guard retain all of their original factory blue on them. The top strap retains most of its blue with some fading in spots. The frame, hammer, and butt plate all retain their original factory case colors. The front barrel band is a plum color. All of the screws are excellent plus with all of their original bright blue on them. The wood is excellent plus throughout with very crisp edges. It has a perfect and very sharp U.S. Inspectors Cartouche on the back side of the wood. It has a bright, mint bore and very tight and crisp action. This Is A Very High Condition U.S. Civil War Military Issued Smith Carbine That Would Be A Great Addition to Any Collection!
