**SOLD** Here we have an honest Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 1/2 revolver chambered in .32 S&W caliber. The No 1 1/2 Single Action is distinguished by the top break action and a rebounding hammer making the revolver safe to carry on a loaded chamber. Being a top break when the action is opened downward the cartridges are lifted from the cylinder for easier removal. This particular example has the strain screw on the forestrap for adjusting the mainspring tension. This revolver has lost some of it's nickle finish over time and those areas have taken on a handsome warm grey patina. The 3 inch barrel has a fair bore with some rifling remaining. The hard rubber grips are intact and free of chips or cracks. There is a star after the serial number indicating that this gun has gone back for factory repair or refinishing at some point.
