Textbook Example of a Late WW II Mauser K98 High Turret Sniper. Serial number 24641.
It has the original scope, and scope case. The scope is marked CAD. The rifle is set up for winter shooting. It has the front sun shield along with the winter trigger. Unfortunately the right side plate of the winter trigger is missing. The rifle has the original sling. The bore is mint!
An example of this rifle is shown in Richard Laws book Sniper Variations.
