Description:
The owner of this rifle is deceased, so I do not have the story on this rifle. Bart Miller, a respected gunsmith and appraiser here in Denver says it is a custom gun on a CZ Mauser style action. It does have a serial number (32504); but, I can find no correlation.. The 24" barrel is stamped 270 WIN, it is blued, and in good condition, slight taper to about a half inch muzzle.. Bore is clean and bright. The barrel does appear to be floated. The rifle appears new - no apparent scratches, dengs, or bluing loss. The wood is very nice, with a 'tiger stripe' pattern. It has a Monte Carlo stock.
It is topped with a Zeiss 'Conquest' 3 - 9 power scope. Good condition, no apparent flaws.
I am an average marksman and have fired the rifle with factory ammunition. It shoots about one inch groups. May do better with a different rest and marksman.
