Description:
Early first Model 1873 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 44 WCF caliber. Original sights include a blade front sight and combination leaf rear. Original saddle ring. Overall metal is a gray/brown with some areas of pitting. Action needs work, does not cock consistently. Barrel band screws are missing. Bore has visible rifling with some scattered pitting. Wood has numerous dents and handling mars. Trapdoor carbine buttplate. No cleaning rod present. This SRC has the “Old West” look and feel from 1875.
