For offer is this exceptionally clean and correct Smith & Wesson Model 10-5 Detroit Police issued revolver. There is no loss of the finish, and apart from a few fine handling marks there is no holster wear visible. The hammer and trigger exhibit 99% original case color and the walnut grips are in great condition with a few dings evident. The bore of the five inch pencil profile barrel shows as mirror with strong rifling. It has a DA/ SA trigger with smooth trigger pulls breaking at 8.7 and 2.5 pounds. The cylinder has the finest of drag lines while the chambers, ejector star, cylinder face front, and back are clean of any residue. This gun has seen the lightest of use, the pictures tell the tale!

A wonderful piece of Detroit history and rare in such high condition - a steal at this price, enjoy.
