This gun is a Belgium Black powder proofed 3 inch 20 gauge hammer gun. The barrels are inscripted in gold color as Damas Brillant. The proof shows the triangle with 20 This proof is from 1888 forward. The barrels had some pitting so my smith cleaned them up and back bored the gun. I have shot low pressure shells with this gun with no issues. The barrels are approx. 27 inches with the right choke with less choke than the left. The damascus pattern is very good on the barrels. There are side clips with the Greener style cross bolt. The length of pull is 14 inches and drop at heel is 1 1/8. The weight of the gun is 6.8 lbs on my bathroom scale. The finnish and checkering are in good shape. The gun is on face. There are some signs of use on the gun but I see nothing that would be a cause for concern. It does not have enough drop for me to shoot correctly so I decided to let someone else enjoy a nice 20 ga hammer gun. Shipping to be added to price.
