SALE PENDING - Here is a double-action revolver that you won't encounter often. This is a Smith & Wesson Model 646. Chambered is the rimless .40 S&W automatic pistol cartridge, this revolver uses full moon clips for loading and ejection. This item was produced after the slab-barreled Performance Center revolvers; is one of a very small group of just 300 such guns manufactured in 2003 - without the trigger lock. It is a 6-shot revolver with 4-inch barrel and adjustable sights. It is built on a round butt stainless steel L-frame and is fitted with a titanium cylinder. Overall condition is excellent; gun appears unfired beyond factory testing. It will ship in the lockable factory aluminum range case with owner's manual, paperwork, a dozen full moon clips and a loading tool. An unusual revolver that is likely to make a good investment/collector's piece. Please review the pictures to assess condition and contact me with questions.
