Description:
Colt single action frontier six shooter with etched panel. This is a scarce early 5 1/2 barrel with one piece walnut grips. The gun comes with a Colt letter verifying the configuration is as it left the factory in 1882.
All matching gun. You can see the etched panel well but is hard to photograph. The gun shows wear, scuffs and scratches from 140 years of use. A past owner suggested from the markings on the gun it may have been Indian used. Who knows. Barrel address is soft in places. Bore is very good for a black powder gun.
