Description:
This Springfield M1 Garand SN 640138 was Mfg in May of 1942. The stock is in good condition with no cracks and is completely serviceable it has plenty of dings and dents as most of these used military rifles have. it has the Springfield Armory Markings on the side and on the Grip. Barrel is stamped 1-SA-2-45 and has a very nice mirror bore with a muzzle reading of 2+ and a throat reading of 4 this should make a great shooter. Function checked and armory certified 6-23-22. The receiver is in very good condition with a clear SN amd manufacturer stamp on the back. This is a great rifle to take to the range and have some fun with lots ow War history since 1942..
As with all M1 Garands, make sure you are shooting the correct pressure ammo for the rifle system. Please ask about our Original 1953 M1 Garand Non Corrosive Ammo in Clips and bandoliers.
