Description:
This is an excellent example of a Remington Model 03-A4 sniper rifle manufactured in 1944. The barrel is Remington marked and dated January of 1944. Remington bolt. It comes equipped with what appears to be a period-correct scope mount and Telescope M84 scope (excellent optics). The serial number and model designation on the top of the receiver are in the proper orientation for an original 03-A4 sniper. The left side of the stock has the proper cross-canon military cartouche and "FJA" Frank Atwood inspection stamp. There is an "O.G.E.K." stamp on the left side of the stock as well, indicating this gun was reworked at the Ogden Arsenal. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with some minor thinning on the receiver and some light scratches on the barrel. The stock is very nice with very minor dings throughout. Comes with a period-correct green canvas sling. Minty bore.
