Here we have a fine Italian made Armi Jager replica single action Dakota buntline revolver chambered in .44-40 caliber. This revolver is one of the best Italian reproductions made. Beautiful case hardening, brass grip assembly and very nice grips give this piece a very classy look. The 11 3/4 inch barrel has a very good bore with strong rifling. It has a unique hammer wheel safety. The brass has some wear and the cylinder has some moderate turn rings. There are a few handling marks on the gun. This fine Italian replica would be a strong addition to a collection of single actions or a great revolver to shoot on a regular basis.
At the time of this writing we do have ammunition for this caliber.
