Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless 3rd Model, chambered in .38 S&W. Features include: 5 shot fluted cylinder, 3-1/4 in. barrel, nickel finish, mother-of-pearl grips, discernible feature is push down catch in top strap. 73,500 mfg. 1890-1898. Despite the age of this piece, the bore is in decent condition as well as the grips. Nickle plating is shiny, with only a few scuffs marks here and there. .38 S&W
