This Savage Model 1899 is a right hand lever action repeating rifle in .38-55 Win. Cal. It has a 26 inch half round half octagon barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable notch middle sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip walnut straight grip. The forearm is a smooth grip walnut Schnabel style. Serial Number 68.956 (1906). .38-55 Winchester
