Description: Guns Listing ID: 604432 Springfield Model 1884 Black Powder Rifle 32-5/8 inch Barrel 202201315 Great condition Serial number dates it to 1890 Springfield Armory US Model 1884, serial number 506903. Manufactured in 1890 and is an antique. No FFL Required, it is a black powder cartridge rifle. The right side plate is marked with a faded Springfield “eagle” and “U.S. / SPRINGFIELD”. The barrel shank is marked with a “V”, “P”, with an “eagle head” proof, and with partial stampings. Rifle‚‚s 32 5/8 barrel has a clean bore and chamber. The rifling is weak. Original sights are present and the rear functions as it should. Finish is a mixture of blue and rust (Patina!). Hammer cocks and functions as it should.Cleaning rod is present, Wood is rough.
