SOLD TO MIKE-THANKS! Weatherby 257 Mag. made in 1952. It is a collectable FN model used to be made in the U.S. before they started with the Mark 5 with Sauer. Exceptional wood!!! It comes with a 6X18 Burris Scope that has a lifetime guarante on Buehler Mounts! This is the original action that Roy used before inventing the Mark 5. Original bluing with 26 inch barrel. The engine turned bolt and safety spring all original by Weatherby. I am sure Roy had alot to do with this low number rifle. I purchased the rifle from the original owners son and his dad had mainly keept it as a show piece and shot if very little. The stock had a long surface scratch that I could not stand and I had Arts Gun Shop refinish this magnificent piece of wood! It has the original Weatherby recoil pad and the LOP measures 13 3/4's. The wood had to be a LARGE up grade.This gun shows like new with sharp rifeling. I will sell the rifle without the scope for $2,275.00 Shipping $79.00 insured in a hard case. I have collected for over 55 years and selling off some of the best of my collection.
