For your consideration the Henry H010CC lever action repeating rifle, in caliber .45-70 GOVT. Henry's Steel Color Cased (Case Hardened) models feature one of the most appealing steel frame finishes. They are 100-percent American made with an octagonal barrel, adjustable buckhorn and bead sights, and checkered walnut furniture. Other features include a transfer bar safety, tube-loading magazine, sling swivel studs, a drilled and tapped frame, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Introduced to the world just 1 year after the invention of .45 Colt, .45-70 Gov't reigns supreme in the world of straight-walled cartridges to this day, reaching out past 150 yards accurately. Its name is derived from the bullet diameter (.45 in), the weight of the black powder used when it was created (70 grains), and the fact that it was designed and used by the U.S. ARMY in 1873. .45-70 Government
