EARLY SIMEON NORTH U.S. MODEL 1816 FLINTLOCK PISTOL. .54 caliber 9” barrel with “U.S.” and “P” inspection stamps at the left breech and “R J” inspector’s initials at the left breech. 100% original and in very good condition. Lock with good “S. NORTH/ U.S. EAGLE/ MIDLN. CON” marking. Dark attic metal patina. Stock with the original finish and a very sharp inspectors cartouche. Perfect working order. Original ramrod. Has the early lock marking of the Model 1813 as well as the early “R J” inspection stamp. Scarce variation for this model.
