WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN MAUSER GEW 98 8MM SNIPER RIFLE. Waffenfabrik Oberndorf production rifle with the original early Sniper offset claw mounts and original front and rear barrel sights. Matching numbers except bolt and butt plate. Receiver and barrel with Imperial German Ordnance proofs on both sides. Receiver stamped “WAFFENFABRIK/OBERNDORF”. Metal with most of the arsenal military blue. Matching stock and hand guard with the original worn finish. Light wear and old storage grease overall. Working order and very good bore. No import marks.
