SOLD This Winchester Shotgun was produced in 1956. The shotgun's serial number is 231868. This gun has the standard 24 inch barrel chambered for the 22 Long Rifle Shot Shell. This gun is a non counter bored smooth bored barrel. The receiver has the groove top. This Winchester shows very light use and wear. The bore is bright and clean. The front sight has the German Silver shotgun bead. There is no provision for a rear sight which is correct. The action is tight and works smoothly. The take down feature is snug with no play. The original bluing would rate a strong 98% or better condition. The stock and pump handle retain all of the factory finish. There is no cracks or blemishes to the wood. This is a very fine condition Shotgun! These non counter bored shotguns are the rarest of these shotguns! Here is a great example of these rare guns for the collector!
