SHILOH SHARPS MADE IN BIG TIMBER, MONTANA SCARCE NEW MODEL 1863 .54 CALIBER PERCUSSION SADDLE RING CARBINE, #9XXX. This upgraded carbine has a rich color deep brown semi-fancy walnut stock and forend. It was also special ordered with the saddle ring and bar. Overall, aside from a couple of very small handling marks in the bottom of the stock, this rifle seems to have seen very little use and appears near new. Nice case colored lock, hammer, receiver, butt plate, lever and barrel band. Comes with a semi-buckhorn ladder rear sight plus an extra full buckhorn ladder sight. Shiloh has not made these for some time and this one is a particularly attractive special order example. Superb quality inside and out. Catalog price for one like this would be over $2600. My price $2250.
