Description:
28 inch octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Chambered in the original 45-75 WCF caliber with a fine bore. "1876" marked folding ladder rear sight and a German silver blade front sight. Wood is good with just minor usage evident. No splits or cracks. Wood is generally better than you usually would encounter and may have a coat of linseed oil added. Rifle style buttplate. Crisp tight action. Original dust cover. Overall metal is very good with about 75% original blue remaining. Generous amount of case color on the hammer and lever. This is a fine 1876 made in 1887.
