BAKER PARAGON GRADE 12 GAUGE. KRUPP FLUID STEEL 28" BARRELS, 98% BRIGHT BLUE, MIRROR PERFECT BORES, IMCYL. (.08) AND MODIFIED (.015), 2 3/4" CHAMBERS, AUTOMATIC EJECTORS, BARRELS RING LIKE A BELL.
SIDEPLATE FRAME, ATTRACTIVE ENGRAVING - ENGLISH POINTER ON RIGHT SIDE, ENGLISH SETTER ON LEFT SIDE, GROUSE ON TRIGGERGUARD, PLUS ACANTHUS SCROLLWORK AND BORDERS.
FENCES ARE ENGRAVED WITH A STIPPLED BACKGROUND. CASE COLOR IN THE PROTECTED AREAS, ENGRAVED SCREWS, TOP LEVER TO THE FAR RIGHT, TIGHT ON FACE. PISTOL GRIP STOCK, SPLINTER FOREARM, VERY FINE CHECKERING. NICELY FIGURED AMERICAN WALNUT, ATTRACTIVE REDDISH COLOR. ORIGINAL GRIP CAP AND BAKER MARKED BUTTPLATE, 1 1/2" X 2 1/2" 13 7/8", 7 POUNDS 5 OUNCES. VERY DIFFICULT GUN TO FIND. GREAT HANDLING DOUBLE IN VERY PLEASING CONDITION, CIRCA PRE-1920.
