Jean Tanazacq vintage "RAMBO 1" holllow-handle survival model from 1982/83. A rarity in today's marketplace.
This particular model is a version from 1982. The slightest variations find on each knife Rambo 1 and Rambo 2 can be easily observed. However, the real difference lies in two important details: the shape of the sawteeth and the final shape of the sharp cutting edge, one of which is straight while the other is curved as seen on the model R 2; otherwise everything else is the same. The 9" blade has fourteen protuberant sawteeth extending about half of the false edge, while stopping about an inch from the guard. Both models are contained in a very heavy-duty high quality thick leather scabbard with hone pocket for a sharpening stone (not provided) and equipped with a swivel on the back for tie-down thongs
