The Cherokee Strip Golden 39AS was made for the celebration of the 100th anniversary, or Centennial of the opening of the Cherokee Strip for settlement, an area in the panhandle of Oklahoma that was opened for settlement in 1893. They were sold exclusively by Wal-Mart with each store in the northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas receiving 5 guns. The box denotes semi-fancy walnut and an etched receiver. The stock is laser engraved with a Cowboy on a horse and a stagecoach. It is engraved 1893 Centennial 1993 Oklahoma Cherokee Strip on the receiver in gold letters. NIB. Unfired, Excellent condition still has the original hang tags attached. Original box with original Wal-Mart price tag. $60 insured shipping. 3% additional for credit card use.
