Payment Types Accepted: Bank check Description: According to Remington Society Collectors the Model 141s were not even catalogued and only a few were produced when special ordered by using left over Model 14 barrels. This one remains in great collector quality condition. Both the blue and wood remain in excellent shape. There are only light signs of use overall. The barrel blue has a plum color which is a well known sign that the barrel was made during the model transitioning period when Remington had to adjust their bluing process. According to the serial number and barrel date code this rifle was made in 1946. The bore is solid but shows some roughness in the grooves from the corrosive primers that early .25 Remington cartridges used. There are some light dings under the receiver on either side of the trigger guard from someone tapping on it to take the receiver down. Overall this is an extremely rare Remington in great condition. Please see the pictures and feel free to email me with any questions or reasonable offers.
