"Serial number 19869. Made in 1875. 45LC with a 7 ½" barrel. Gun is nickel plated. Metal has 75% of the period nickel finish with a smooth brown patina on the remaining metal. There were a lot of guns ordered in blue finish and shipped to New York where they were subsequently finished in nickel because it was cheaper for them to nickel plate the guns in house. This gun has beautiful period ivory grips. This gun comes with a factory letter confirming features. This gun was shipped to H & D Folsom in New York.
