Serial #3528WWI, .45 ACP, 5 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt M1911 Series 70 WWI Model 1918 Replica manufactured by the Colt Custom Shop from 2008-2009. The faithful reproduction features a black finish and original WWI roll marks. The pistol is in excellent, like new condition, unfired since it left the factory retaining virtually all, 98-99% original black finish on the metal with minor handling impact blemishes on the frame near the lanyard on the bottom back strap and the slide near the muzzle and bottom left of the guide rod. The double diamond walnut grips are excellent. It comes in the original Colt blue cardbord box with gold embossed logo containing the plain cardboard gun box with brown paper wrappers, two magazines, reproduction of the original Colt manual dated 1917, a modern colt safety and instruction manual specifically for the reproduction pistol and a colt lock. A beautiful limited run replica that is now collectible on its own. FFL
