Description:
This is a fine piece of highly figured Circassian Walnut wood cut into a gun blank. This comes from an old New England gunsmith who put aside a lifetime supply in his dry barn where it has slowly aged from 40 to 60 years. It measures 19 inches in length and is 8" wide at the base tapering to 4" at the top and is 2" thick at the base and 1 3/4" at the top weighing 4lbs 2oz.. In other words what you see is what you get – very slowly dried old growth wood and you will receive the exact one that is photographed.
