Description:
Serial #P56951, 9mm Para., 5 3/4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This pistol has matching numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel with the metal retaining 98-99% of the original matte blue finish. There are traces of gray fading and finish loss along the edges of the frame, bearing surfaces of the slide, and the characteristic bright metal along the travel arc of the safety lever. No import marks are present, although there is a microstamp on the left side of the slide: “J GOULD". The checkered black composite grips are in excellent shape with a few very minor handling marks scattered about both panels, and a slight degree of flattening to the points. The pistol is outfitted with the original SIG adjustable target rear sight, and extended barrel-mounted front sight. The pistol has had very few rounds put through it and comes with a single original magazine, and rates excellent condition. There are no import marks and the barrel and hammer group are numbered to the gun. (This pistol is designed for the heavier 9mm bullet (147 gr). It does not work well with a lighter bullet.)
