Here is a beautiful and exceedingly rare Pre War 250-3000 Savage Super Grade. S/N 36*** with matching bolt made in 1941. The condition is fantastic for an 81 year old rifle with all original finishes showing about 97%+ Blue and only some scattered very light handling marks/impressions in the wood. There are no significant dents, nor any gouges or cracks. The rear receiver bridge remains undrilled! All correct internal components unique to this rare caliber are present including #7 mag box, #5 ejector, and correct placement of bolt collar stop. The bore is excellent and the mechanical functions are flawless. There is a factory inletted and installed full block Lyman 48 WJS receiver sight which has all matching inner component numbers. There is a Lyman 12S filler in the barrel dovetail. All Super Grade components are correct including the Redfield front sight and the proper Pre War era detachable swivels.
