Webley-Pryse Type Revolver with Behrens/Korting Placard
Here we present an antique Counet’s Patent Revolver by Auguste Francotte, made circa the 1880s in Liege, Belgium. This is a martial-sized revolver in .450 caliber with a 6-chambered cylinder. It has a top-break frame that unlocks when each of the side levers is pinched toward the frame.
This one has a round placard on the back of the grip that reads “S.L. Fritz Behrens/Zur Erinnerung/R. Körting/En Den 21 September 1886”.
The overall condition is fine. Original blue finish. The action is excellent. The bore is shiny bright with nice rifling. The grip is handcheckered and solid.
