Description:
The Henry Model H006D3 Centerfire Lever-Action Rifle is a hard-hitting, fast-handling centerfire lever-action rifle, with enough firepower for hunting deer and hogs, bear protection, or home defense. The Henry H006D3 features a hardened brass receiver equipped with a solid top with side ejection, and is drilled and tapped for a scope mount. There is no loading port on the side of the receiver, as ammunition is loaded directly into the tubular magazine for quick, quiet reloading. The H006D3 utilizes an internal transfer bar safety that prevents hammer contact with the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled, ensuring the rifle cannot fire from being dropped onto the hammer, nor will it accidentally fire if the shooter's thumb slips from the hammer while cocking. The trigger pull is crisp and clean, allowing for fine accuracy, and the traditional blued octagon barrel features a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and a dovetailed brass bead front sight for quick, intuitive target acquisition.
