****SOLD**** Here we have a Smith & Wesson Model 36 Chief's Special chambered in .38 Special. This Model 36 features a 3" pinned barrel, blue finish, ramped front sight, 5 shot cylinder, and factory checkered hardwood grips. The blue finish rates at 95% with the deductions being various scattered handling marks and light high-edge wear. The bore of the 3" barrel is bright with sharp rifling and shows no signs of imperfections. The five chambers of the cylinder are equally as excellent. The original factory checkered wood grips are in good condition with a handful of scattered handling marks, a light chip on the left grip panel, and two small repairs. The grips fit the gun perfectly with no wiggle or play in them. The action on this Smith & Wesson is perfectly in-time, smooth, and slick. No matter how fast or slow it is operated, or whether it is worked in single or double-action, the cylinder locks up tight in perfect time. All of the controls on this revolver are in perfect working order. If you have been looking for a great packing revolver this Model 36 would make an excellent choice.
