Winchester M54 custom chambered in 223 Remington. Originally a 22 Hornet, the rifle has been rebarreled and chambered in 223 Remington. 20" stainless steel barrel. The action is in very good condition, bolt handle replaced with a butter knife type. From the layout dye on the chamber end of the barrel it would appear it had little use after being finished. Unknown who did the work, but the rifle feeds, chambers and fires without problem. Target scope blocks on the barrel and front receiver ring. The stock has some minor dings but no gouges or cracks. Inlays have been added to the bottom. This would make a great little rifle to carry in the pickup or atv for varmints.
Update: The rifle is now fitted with a Redfield one piece for conventional rings and scope mounting. Screw holes in the barrel have filler screws, please see photos. Target scope bases will ship with the rifle. Price remains the same.
