Description:
Serial #71-28806, 6mm Rem., 24" heavy barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1975 manufactured rifle that has no iron sights, and features the integral scope bases, is drilled and tapped for scope blocks, and has a tang safety. The former collector protected the metal by leaving a film of grease which you can see the residue of in some of the photos. It did it's job! The metal retains practically all of the original blue finish with only a single small speck of flaking on the right side near the muzzle. The checkered walnut stock has virtually no wear or handling marks, and is outfitted with a red Ruger recoil pad. The rifle is housed in the original, numbered Ruger cardboard shipping box with original manual (no rings). This is a very nearly new-in-box, early Model 77, chambered in a great light game/varmint caliber. FFL
