Description: This original 54Cal Model 1842 pistol, possibly made for the US Navy, has a 6” patinaed barrel mounted with a gold bead front sight. The bore is pitted. The Walnut stock is mounted with brass furniture including a barrel band and a brass inlay in the butt. The percussion lock is activated by a single trigger. There are unrepaired cracks in the butt of the stock, through the lock bolt and in front of the lock plate. There are quite a few usage dents and dings, deep scratches on the right side of the barrel close to the muzzle and around the butt and missing barrel band pin and ramrod. This pistol is in fair condition and is being sold AS-IS. Please note: This pistol is unsigned – manufacturer unknown. The overall length is 12”, weight is 1 lb, 13 oz. Our stock number is A789.
