Payment Types Accepted: Personal Check, Money Order, Cashiers Check. Description: ON HOLD! Here is a good to very good Harpers Ferry pistol which appears to be original flintlock. The touch hole doesn't line up but eagle's wing touches so close to the pan that it's either a super job or made this way. I really don't know but is a real genuine pistol. The inspectors markings on back and the JS? initials are there near the butt cap. Mechanically excellent and good barrel markings. Slight wear to stock and metal probably cleaned many years ago. There is a repailred crack under the lockplate probably caused by the mainspring beating down from the inside of lock. Looks like a repair to the triggerguard at lower screw. Minor. Metal showing some pitting here or there but still a nice pistol. It appears the top jaw screw is replaced. The touch could have been redone in it's past history. SOLD |
