Description:
Extremely rare Springfield Arsenal 22 long rifle single shot built on a Krag 1898 action in 1905. this rifle has a Stevens Pope 22" barrel. According to the 1998 Flayderman catalog,a very few of the rifles were buitl by Springfield for select customers and shooting teams. This one is in mint original condition. It has Lyman target front and rear sights. The bore is mint with sharp rifling. This is a unique rifle that would be a fine addition to any Springfield collection. C&R eligible.
