Description:
The condition of this No. 3 Smith isn't far from the way it came from the factory. There is little wear and only a light and small blemish here and there. No barrel dents or gouges. My limited photo capabilities do not show the gun as well as it should. Here are some specifics:
* No. 3 grade
* 12 gauge auto ejectors double triggers
* 28 inch barrels full and full
* 7 lbs. 4 ounces
* Near pristine bores with some light blemishes
* Manufactured in 1901 Four digit serial number
* Desirable quail engraving on one lock plate and snipe on the other, done by one of Hunter Arms master engravers, there is not a single hitch in the engraving.
* Small chip on the butt plate and a small chip and wood gouge on the grip cap. Some light handling marks on tjhe varnish.
* 100% original. There are no touch-ups
* Hunter Arms only made 326 No. 3 grades with 28 inch barrels
