This is a very hard stock to find, it is for a standard caliber 1948 to 1950 mod 70 , Stock is in excellent original condition , stock has not been altered, original finish ,original butt plate, varnish is 98 to 99% sharp original checkering , shaped like a pre-war -transition stock but not a Cloverleaf Tang witch Winchester only did near the end of the transtion era, it will fit any pre 64 model 70 from 1948 to 1963 standard caliber ,Not for a featherweight or 300-375 H&H Magnum,
