Description:
Description:
The Polish Eagle Radom was developed in 1935, and placed into production in 1936, with assembly continuing until the Germans invaded Poland in 1939 and took over the plant. By that time, approximately 50,000 pistols had been completed. This example, dated 1939, has standard features that include a fixed front sight, shallow rib, a drift adjustable rear sight. Locked breech, single action with decocker. Left slide of slide marked with manufacturer, production year, and patent reference. Full serial number on the right side of the frame with disassembly showing a matching numbered slide and barrel. Usual scattering of inspection markings. Major components rust blued; barrel in the white; grip screws and extractor fire blued. Primary and one of spare magazines with encircled G/2 on toe; the other a slightly later K marked magazine. Complete with original holster, previous owner’s name inked inside lid, and shoulder strap. No cleaning rod.

Synopsis:
Stunning Polish Eagle Radom pistol, 1939 date, matching, full military rig except cleaning rod. Nearly impossible to upgrade.

Condition:
Bright, 99% original rust blue, with very light sharp edge wear, and few small scuffs on the left side of the slide over the crest. No significant wear on frontstrap. Grip safety with minimal sharp edge wear as carefully photographed. Excellent grips with screws retaining virtually all of their original fire blue. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
