Description:
***SOLD***St. Etienne model 1892 8mm 4.6" barrel Label revolver made in 1899. The revolver has several markings like the letters J B on the left side of the barrel, B P on the right side, crown over E under the barrel & on the cylinder, the letter K on the cylinder, as well as the letter P in an oval as well as in a diamond under the barrel. The revolver features a swing out cylinder, double & single action firing, blued finish, 6 shot cylinder capacity, lanyard loop, checkered wood grips, as well as integrated rear sight with post front. The revolver is in good working order with proper timing and lockup. The finish is bright with only a few minor spots of wear. The cylinder has a smooth ejection action with shiny chambers. The grips are solid with no crack and have some grooved cut in the top on both sides. The barrel has sharp rifling with a shiny bore. Awesome piece of French history!
