Here we have a 1950 manufactured Winchester Model 43 chambered in the desirable .22 Hornet caliber. This classic bolt action rifle features a 24" barrel, checkered walnut stock, 4 round detachable magazine, blued finish, and a vintage EIB scope mounted in Weaver rings. The .22 Hornet cartridge is more potent than any rimfire cartridge and being a centerfire cartridge the cases are reloadable. The action is short and smooth, and the rifle comes with one box magazine. The rifle has been drilled and tapped for scope use and the vintage EIG scope has been set into a set of Weaver rings. The rich dark stock is in very good condition with some scattered handling marks and has the original factory stock hardware. The metal retains most of its original bluing and shows scattered signs of handling, light high-edge wear, and finish loss/thinning along the barrel. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and all the factory markings are still more than visible. Here is your opportunity to add a classic vintage rifle to your collection.
