I purchased this rifle new in 1979-1980, put it on display and essentially never touched it again.
This is a rare oportunity to purchase an original Shiloh Sharps 1874 in perfect new condition.
Comparing it to modern production it is the Long Range Express Model. The rifle has double set triggers, 34" oct barrel, cheekpiece, pistol grip, vernier rear sight and adjustable front sight with level. The butt plate is black plastic "SHARPS OLD RELIABLE". The barrel is marked OLD RELIABLE, Shiloh Rifle Mfg. Co, Caliber .45 6/10. The action is marked Shiloh Rifle Mfg Co, Farmingdale, NY. Weight is 12.7 LBS. In my opinion the wood is Mid Grade.
