Presented here is a very nice Winchester Model 69A bolt action .22 rifle. The Winchester Model 69 is a bolt-action .22 caliber repeating rifle first produced in 1935 by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. It was marketed as Winchester's mid-priced bolt-action rimfire sporting rifle, positioned above inexpensive single-shot rifles such as the Model 68 and beneath the prestigious Model 52. This particular example is in very good overall condition. The rifle has some high edge wear but all metal surfaces are in very good condition. The 25 inch barrel has a good bore with strong rifling. At some point the left side ot the action was modified to accept an adjustable aperture sight. Topping the action is a set of 1 inch rings and a 4x Tasco scope of Japanese manufacture. This honest rifle would make a great addition to an existing collection of Winchesters or an excellent way to start a new collection.
