SOLD ...... Original WW2 production US M1 .30 Carbine by Standard Products Model of 1943 In Excellent Condition with 95% Original Metal Finish this is a GI Bring-Back Not a Rebuild or a recent import the Serial number is 22283xx. Barrel is Underwood dated “2-44” with the flaming bomb proof Std-Prod never made Barrels and it is Correct, The Stock is marked "SJ" in the Sling-Cut, Hand Guard 2-Pin Stamped “S-HB’ indicating, The wood was lightly sanded and oiled There are 2 Ghost Cartouches on the Right. No import marks. Overall condition Excellent. Parts are all original for a Std-Prod except for the Magazine-Catch stamped “M”, 15 round Original Magazine is stamped “SI”. The Correct WW2 Style Sling is a later replacement maybe NOS sold at gun shows years ago ?

Barrel: Underwood, 2-44, Flaming Bomb & P, Bright bore and excellent rifling. WW2 production US M1 .30 Carbine. All of the Underwoods Barrels had Machining marks with a Grayish Finish Never Polished.
